GOA: On the back of a disappointing Away loss to Mohun Bagan, DSK Shivajians will look to make amends against bottom placed Churchill Brothers FC Goa. The Match will take place on the 26th of February at the Tilak Maidan in Vasco.

While they lost their last game, DSK Shivajians have been on a good run of form, picking up their first ever Away win in Shillong and a hard fought draw Away against upwardly mobile Minerva Punjab FC in recent times. Dave Rogers will also be buoyed by the fact that the last time he met the Red Machines from Goa, his side were completely dominant and denied the win only due to a last gasp equaliser.

Previously Head of the DSK Shivajians Academy, First Team Manager Dave Rogers has not shied away from fielding a Young Side comprising of as many as 5 U-22 players at times. While Jerry Lalrinzuala, Mawihminthanga and Sairuatkima have featured prominently in recent times, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Rohit Kumar, Naro Hari Shrestha, Md. Sajid Dhot and Lalthathanga Khawlring, all U-22 players have been regulars in the side. Churchill Brothers on the other hand have recently acquired the services of former DSK Shivajians Manager Derrick Pereira who will be looking to make his own mark on the Goan side.

Speaking ahead of the game, Rogers said, “We want to win the game. It’s been a bit of inconsistency on our behalf, but it’s a new team with a lot of boys from the Academy and they’ve been fantastic. We don’t go into any game not trying to win the three points.

Kick-Off is at 4:30 PM, and the Match will be telecast LIVE on Ten 2.
