Defending champions Three Star Club Nepal suffered a 0-1 defeat from SFA White (Sikkim Boys) in the first quarter-final of 35th Governor’s Gold Cup on Tuesday (14 October) afternoon at Sikkim’s Paljor Stadium.

Despite of missing four key players from their regular team the Nepali club had maximum possessions in entire match, but an extra-time own goal in 100th minute from defender Bijaya Dhimal sealed the fate of the match in favour of SFA White.

Tomorrow Tollygunge Agragami will face Sikkim Himalayan SC in the second quarter-final at Paljor Stadium, Sikkim on 2 pm.
